Jesus Christ is considered the Son of God by Christians and a holy man in other faiths. The miracles of Christ are found in literature called the Gospels, which mean Good News. The most famous: The Four Gospels by the apostles St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke, and St. John are called the Synoptic Gospels because they give a synopsis of the same event. The Gospels start with the Birth of Christ. Christian scriptures tell of a world of spirits and nine choirs of angels who were sent by god into the lives of men. Legend has it that in Bethlehem men heard the angels sing one time in unision to announce the birth of Christ. This is considered the first Christmas carol. Christmas carols have three points: the recitive of the Angel of the Lord, the choir of the multitudes of Angels and the reaction of the shepherds. (1, 3)
