Sacred Gems
Garnet: Ones found in Scotland are red, brownish-red and black.
Agate: Bestows eloquence and grace from heaven and earth.
Sapphire: The gem of Saint Andrew.
Onyx: Found in Perthshire, Scotland.
Cairngorm: Deep orange or brown smoky quartz found in the Cairngorm Mountains. Quartz is called grianchloch: sun-stone.
Morion: Transparent black quartz.
Beryl: Clear, blue, yellow, or sea green stone. Looking through it one sees what was previously invisible.
Topaz: Yellow and blue ones are in the Highlands. (5)
