Airmed, Airmid (Measure of Seeds, The Moderation)
(pron. AIR-mit, AWR-meet, EER-meet) Túatha Dé goddess of witchcraft and herblore. She and her brother Miach: Honorable went to the castle of Nuadhu: Solar Yew and the porter would not let them in until they proved they could give him a new eye. Airmid and Miach removed an eye from the porter’s cat and transplanted it to the porter’s empty eye socket. The new eye retained its cat’s nature: searching for mice at night, and sleeping during the day.

She collected 365 grasses that sprang from her brother Miach’s grave, realizing that each one is a cure for a disease. Her father spilled the grasses out of her cloak, mixing them up so that the world would not be healed. During the Cath Maigh Tuireadh: Second Harvest (Battle): Plain of Frost (pron moytura) she gathered herbs to cure wounded warriors and to raise the dead in the Health Fountain.
