Birog, Biróg (Eye Tooth) Birog of the Mountain
(pron. beer-OAG) Goddess and druidess who dressed Cian in woman’s clothes, brought him across the sea in a blast of wind to the crystal tower where Eithne: Seed was imprisoned. She helped Cian: Clear Water ascend the crystal tower and rescue Eithne from imprisonment by putting the guardians of the tower to sleep. Birog saved their child Lugh: Raven from drowning. (58, 183)
